    Ms Vian Lin is a brilliant young Australian pianist, a successful educator and a businesswoman, who also is always “persevering” in her whole life:

    Vian was born in China and lived in Paris before arriving in Brisbane in 2002 to pursue her music studies. Vian started her piano journey with the famous Chinese pianist – Mr Dalei Fan from Secondary School Affiliated to Shanghai Conservatory of Music when she was only aged three. Vian has won the Australian Yamaha Piano Competition at the age of 17 and and performed at the Sydney Opera House. After that, she has become famous in worldwide. At the same year, Vian had received her scholarship from University of Queensland, and continued her piano journey with world class piano master Mr Max Olding AM. In 2011, Vian created Harmonie Music Centre and Harmonie International and started her business new chapter with a group of young Australian musicians who also have the same goals together. Vian has toured more than 10 countries and performed a piano solo with her own piece – “Two Cities” at the 2014 G20 Summit in Brisbane.

    In the past decade, Vian has worked with lots of world class artists and musicians, including Dami Im, Inspiration Band, Sing! China Production Team, Penny Tai, Karen Mok, Sandee Chan, Lang Lang, Yundi Li, Maksim Mrvica, Animenz, Queensland Symphony Orchestra, Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Yo-Yo Ma, Liping Yang and so many more.

    Vian is now the director and owner of Harmonie International and Harmonie Music Centre. Over the past eight years, Harmonie has brought household names from China, Japan, Korea, Hungary and Croatia to over 200,000 patrons in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, Perth and Auckland.

    In 2019, Vian won the award of Nick Xynias Multicultural Young Business Person of the Year, which was a part of 2019 Lord Mayor Multicultural Awards for Business as well. She also was the first pianist and music educator who won this award in Australia.

    Apart from Harmonie International, Vian has employed by Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC), Brisbane Festival and other major festivals in Australia, and world class venues. Her goal is to share Asian culture with every resident in Australia and in all over the world. Vian and her team has organised more than 300 art performances in Australia and oversea.

    Vian is also an amazing educator who has students over all over the world. Her students are received the offers from Royal College of Music, Vienna Konservatorium, Berklee College of Music and other international famous music schools.
